Lookbook Lovely..

Whilst scrolling through the numerous stylish pages of Lookbook, it is hard not to want to recreate some of what you see. This  look in particular caught my eye

I am in love with the colour clash of mustard yellow, pink and turquoise as well as the addition of both a vintage short-handled satchel and Cameo necklace. In my head the boots of choice are either Doc Martens or Studded boots. Whatever her actual choice, this outfit is pretty perfect to me.

Christmas Dresses

Around this time of year many of us will be buying that special dress anticipaing the festive celebrations, whether it be a Chritmas work meal or seasonal night out with friends. I however am not one of these people (due to, as previously stated, saving hard for my travels in Jan). If I was these lovelies would make my shortlist.

Style Birmingham

I was lucky enough, with my good friend Amy, to go to the 2010 Style Birmingham event last weekend, hosted by the super stylish George Lamb. I had a brilliant day watching catwalk shows, doing a spot of window shopping and nabbing some great freebies too. The highlight had to be the Town Hall Catwalk show which presented a collection from Birmingham raised Osman Yousefzada who showcased some beautiful pieces as well as some of the best statement shoes I have seen in a while.

The Collection intends to show ‘the movement of fashion with the human body’

The catwalk also displayed pieces by French Connection, Mango, DKNY, Reiss, LK Bennett, Oasis and Motel as well as others.

Freebies included a largish sample of the new Marc Jacobs Bang Perfume, Jergens Naturals Mouisturiser,  Lip Gloss by Collection 2000, Dove products, lots of Elemis samples and other treats.

Unfortunately George did not personally give us our goody bags

A second Catwalk located in the Bullring, ‘the Show’ invited spectators to witness some of the most enchanting trends on sale this Autumn such as pieces from River Island, Zara, Karen Millen and Office. It saw exotic prints fuse with lovely lace pieces, asymmetric shapes with the futuristic, Faux fur, bold colours and  print clashes not for the wall flowers out there. The show was brought to a dramatic finish with an in your face Circus styled runway piece.

Whilst shopping I found a few things that I would  be tempted to sell a relative for. Here are my some of my favourites

Boots by Alexander Mcqueen at Selfridges

Knuckle Ring by Alexander Mcqueen at Harvey Nichols

Shoes Both Vivienne Westwood at Daniel Footwear

Shoes by L.A.M.B at Daniel Footwear

Nicola Roberts..

In my opinion (and probably most people’s) Nicola Roberts never goes far wrong in her fashion choices . London Fashion week saw her maintain this stylish status as she rocked a pretty Silk Tutu Dress from Topshop with Mary-jane style heels, toughening up the look with a Leather Biker Jacket.
